Melody Khalifa, LPC

One of the most valuable aspects to Melody’s approach in therapy is her connection with her clients. She recognizes the importance of authenticity, empathy and empowerment, supporting her clients in a safe, non-judgmental space. She utilizes a wide variety of skills and modalities such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play and Art Therapies, Solution Focused Therapy, Spirituality, and Person Centered Therapy to build that therapeutic relationship. Melody is passionate about working with people with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, family and relationship stressors, hardships at work, and adjustment issues. Her goal is to be supportive of her clients, providing tools and skills for them to cope, grow, and thrive.

She served as a school counselor for 12 years and has been a therapist since 2020.

Melody earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Statistics from Rutgers University and her Master’s and Post Masters Degrees in Counseling and School Leadership from The College of New Jersey. 

Melody enjoys working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and young adults. She has experience working with clients who struggle in school, with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and family issues. Her goal is to be supportive of her clients, providing tools and skills for them to cope, grow, and thrive.
