General Questions

Q: What types of counseling do you offer?

A: We provide individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, and child/adolescent therapy. Our clinicians specialize in areas including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, stress management, and relationship challenges.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: Yes. We accept many major insurance plans including Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Optum/United Health and some of our therapists accept Medicare. We also accept out of network benefits. For example, if you have Cigna and out of network benefits, you would pay out of pocket up front, submit the claim to Cigna, and whatever you are covered would be reimbursed to you directly. In this case, we encourage you to reach out to your insurance company to find out what out of network coverage you have (ie: 80% of out of pocket costs, etc.). Our intake team will also help verify your benefits before your first appointment to make the process seamless.

Q: How long is a typical session?

A: Standard sessions are 45–55 minutes.

Q: Do you offer telehealth appointments?

A: Yes. Telehealth sessions are available for clients throughout New Jersey. However, all clients need to be in the state of New Jersey during the time of the session.

Q: How do I know which therapist is right for me?

A: Our intake team matches you with a therapist based on your goals, needs, location, and scheduling preferences. If the first therapist isn’t the right fit, we’ll help you find someone who is.
