Christina has 15+ years experience as a counselor. She loves to work with adolescents and adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or the weight of past trauma. Many of the people Christina supports are navigating big life changes, relationship challenges, or are struggling with self-esteem. Her goal is to offer a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal and grow. Christina’s approach to counseling is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed care. She is trained in EMDR and perinatal loss and mood disorders and believes that emotional and behavioral struggles exist both internally and within broader social and cultural systems. Christina works collaboratively with clients in a safe, empathetic environment to explore patterns of thinking and behavior, build effective coping skills, and foster meaningful, lasting change. Her goal is to help clients gain insight into their experiences while supporting their resilience and personal growth. Christina also provides faith-based counseling if that is what the client is looking for. In her personal time, Christina loves to bake, read, watch movies and documentaries, go for walks/hikes, play board games, spend time with her husband, adult children and granddaughter and three dogs.
