Anya is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Rutgers University. She is currently under the supervision of Hannah Wheat, LCSW. Anya is passionate about collaborating with you to explore the experiences and values that make up who you are. Anya prioritizes the therapeutic relationship to effectively empower you on your counseling journey. She further utilizes present moment experiences in sessions to walk with you, as you connect mental and emotional complexities with the physical experience. With experience working with adolescents and adults, Anya is devoted to identifying how
counseling can be uniquely effective for you. Anya takes a holistic and trauma-informed approach, exploring all parts of the self that make an individual’s identity. Anya uses person-centered and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Anya is also trained in motivational interviewing (MI) to help clients with
meaningful change. Anya has experience working with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, grief and loss, eating disorders, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Outside of counseling, Anya enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
