In this module, you will identify what your core needs and values are. You will learn about the needs and values of your partner. Then, you will learn about boundaries and develop the skills to properly set and enforce boundaries. You will also understand more about your partner’s boundaries. Setting your own boundaries and understanding your partner’s boundaries will lead to a dynamic of mutual respect which will also help to develop a healthy, safe, and trusting relationship.
In this module, you will develop active listening skills by using techniques such as mirroring and validations. These techniques will foster understanding and help to prevent misunderstandings. They will also help promote a safe and healthy dynamic between you and your partner while helping to prevent unhealthy patterns such as escalations and invalidations.
In this module, you will learn how to effectively communicate with your partner to promote productive and healthy dialogues and limit unproductive debates that can lead to harmful relationship patterns.
