
Carina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master’s degree from Rutgers University. Carina’s style is warm, compassionate, playful, and challenging. She believes in collaborating with her clients to uncover their goals while simultaneously developing a deeper understanding of themselves. Carina works to support and empower her clients by utilizing their strengths, individuality, and resiliency to heal and to gain more fulfillment in their lives.
She is experienced in working with adolescents, families, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship conflict, anger, and stress. Every client is unique, so Carina will pull from multiple therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Relational Therapy, and Solution Focused approaches to tailor treatment to support her client’s individual goals.
