Dr. Amy Parker is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a deep commitment to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. With over 30 years of experience in education and counseling, Dr. Parker brings warmth, expertise, and practical tools to her work with clients.
Her approach integrates evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—with a strong foundation in conflict resolution and family systems. She specializes in working with school-aged children and teens facing anxiety, depression, peer issues, grief, academic stress, and life transitions. Dr. Parker also partners closely with parents, offering guidance and support to strengthen family communication and promote healthy development.
Dr. Parker earned her Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University, as well as master’s degrees in both School Counseling and Music Education. Her background as a longtime school counselor and educator gives her unique insight into the challenges students face both inside and outside the classroom.
She is passionate about creating a safe, affirming environment where every client feels heard, empowered, and equipped to thrive.
