Amanda prioritizes the strong therapeutic alliance between her and her clients. Her goal is to
make you feel safe and supported as you begin your new journey in exploring yourself. She
enjoys bringing her training and knowledge to work with her clients, getting to know their stories
and through collaboration, building meaningful change in the client’s life. Amanda has experience working with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Grief &.Loss, Substance Use, Life Transitions, Spirituality, and Relationship Issues in outpatient settings. Amanda enjoys working with adolescents, young adults and adults of all ages. Amanda’s approaches to therapy include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness techniques in order to explore patterns of thoughts and behaviors while building a strong foundation of coping skills and set attainable goals and cultivate self-compassion during our sessions.
Amanda is a Licensed Associate Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at
Rowan University and her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Holy
Family University. She also received specialized training from the Beck Institute of Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy. Outside of counseling, Amanda enjoys walking her dog, taking day trips to the Jersey Shore, and spending time with family and friends.
