SARAH E. SIERING, LPAT, ATR-BC, BCBA
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ART THERAPIST

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Art Therapist, a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working with adults, teens, and children as young as three years old. Are you interested in moving beyond words in therapy? As an art therapist, Sarah integrates psychotherapeutic strategies with the creative process to help people gain greater understanding of themselves and others, cope with loss or trauma, resolve interpersonal conflict, and reduce stress. You DON’T have to be a highly skilled artist to benefit from art therapy: you just have to be open to exploring life’s challenges through art, play, music, movement, and/or creative writing. All creativity is welcomed and honored for its therapeutic potential, and Sarah is here to guide you through the process.
Do you prefer a more scientific approach?
Sarah is also a behavior analyst who can help you make concrete behavior changes as part of your overall mental health goals. If you’re the type of person who benefits from tracking each positive step and seeing a visual representation of your progress, a behavioral approach may be right for you. (Please note that Sarah does not offer traditional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.)
Whether you prefer the art or the science of therapy, whether you like to talk a lot or a little (or not at all!), whatever your age or your neurotype, Sarah’s goal is to provide a welcoming space where your authentic self is seen and celebrated.
